On September 27, 2009, Western Kentucky University Libraries, including the Kentucky Library & Museum, participated in the university’s M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan in the Preston Center. Several hundred students came to the Libraries’ booths to learn about these facilities and their services. Handouts with gifts of pens and cups with the Libraries’ logo were handed out during the event.

DLPS Faculty Retreat at Kentucky Resort
On September 25, 2009, faculty from the Department of Library Public Services, Western Kentucky University, had its annual retreat at the Barren River State Park resort. Dean Binder came to the lunch and answered the faculty’s questions afterward.
