Western Kentucky University Libraries, Bowling Green Public Library, and the Kentucky Humanities Council proudly sponsored the celebration of the written word featuring Frank X Walker.
Frank X Walker is a founding member of the Affrilachian Poets. His most recent poetry collections are Black Box and Buffalo Dance, the Journey of York. Frank X won the 2004 Lillian Smith Book Award and is the recipient of a 2005 Lannan Literary Fellowship.
From February 2 through 3, Mr. Walker spoke at Western Kentucky University’s Glasgow Campus, at the Bowling Green Public Library and in the new Leisure Reading Room on the first floor of Helm Library. He signed his books at each of the events.
