On January 18, a traveling version of “Western 100” was displayed at the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort as part of the 100th anniversary of the signing of legislation that established normal schools in eastern and western Kentucky.

After thirty years service at WKU, including twenty-five years with University Libraries as Marketing and Special Events Coordinator, Earlene Chelf has retired. Library faculty and staff celebrated her retirement on March 15, 2006.
