Presented by Diana McQuady, the 2007-2008 Western Kentucky University Libraries’ Writer-in-Residence, this workshop was designed to set potential writers on the journey of finding their writing voice, getting words on paper, and moving forward from there. This session was presented on WKU’s Glasgow Campus on Thursday, February 7 and at Bowling Green Community College (WKU’s South Campus) on Thursday, February 14.
Diana has been co-chair of the Southern Kentucky Book Fest’s annual Kentucky Writers Conference for the past five years. Her writing has appeared in various newspapers, newsletters, and anthologies and has been recognized with awards from such sources as the Writer’s Digest Annual Competition and the Tennessee Writers Alliance Short Fiction Award. She recently received artist grants from the Kentucky Foundation for Women and the Kentucky Arts Council. When not at a WKU basketball game, Diana is at work on her third novel. A native Kentuckian, she divides her time between Bowling Green and Nashville.
