A Tisket a Tasket … Learn How to Make a Basket

Kentucky basketLooking for an activity to chase away the winter blahs? Learn how to make a traditional Kentucky-style “eye” and rib construction basket from noted basketmaker Beth Hester. This 10 inch melon-shaped egg basket is easy to make and recommended for novice basket makers. This is a great beginner level basket.

This workshop is scheduled for February 7, 2009 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Pre-registration is required.

  18. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
