Spring Break Art Camp at Kentucky Museum

spring break art campersLooking for a spring break activity for your child. Enroll him or her in the Kentucky Library & Museum Spring Break Art Camp. Designed for children in grades 1 to 6, this weeklong activity runs from March 16 – 20 from 8 am until 12 noon and after camp care is available until 4 pm.

Campers will enjoy a variety of art activities, which include painting with acrylic and watercolors, block printing, foam core sculpture. Campers will tour Kentucky Museum exhibits including Side by Side 2009 and the US Bank “Celebration of the Arts” Open Art Exhibition, the largest art exhibit in this area. They will also, if weather permits, tour the Western Kentucky University campus to view newly installed sculpture.
