Two “Don’t Miss” Events

  1. On Saturday, Nov. 12, 9am – 12noon, at the Kentucky Library and Museum, the last of the fall series of “Medium Magic” workshops were held. Throughout the series, participants had worked with several different media. On Saturday it was acrylic paint. This series was planned for individuals 15 years old and up. The workshop fee, which included all materials and supplies, was $25; however, Library and Museum Associates and WKU students received a 15 percent discount. Pre-registration was encouraged. Egypt imageOn Thursday, Nov. 17, 7pm at Barnes & Noble, 1680 Campbell Lane, Dr. Tosha Dupras, an internationally known forensic anthropologist from the University of Central Florida, presented this month’s “Far Away Places” program.
